Technical Project Manager – Data Center Transformation Project

Are you an experienced project manager with a technical background who is passionate about driving complex IT transformations? We are now looking for someone to lead a strategically important data center project within a larger public organization. Here you will have the opportunity to influence and develop the IT infrastructure that supports mission-critical systems and data processes.

As a technical project manager, you will be a key person in a comprehensive transformation initiative. You will work closely with both the IT organization and the core business in a complex environment, where structure, communication, and delivery capability are crucial for the project's success. You are responsible for driving the project forward in an independent and proactive manner while ensuring that technical solutions are translated into business-adapted information.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive projects related to the transition to a new data center
• Plan, execute, and follow up on project activities
• Coordinate work between IT and the business
• Drive prioritization issues in relation to other initiatives
• Ensure clear communication to various stakeholders
• Create structure in complex technical environments
• Translate technical requirements into business-adapted information
• Drive the project forward with a proactive approach

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

• At least 6 months of documented experience (since 2022) in project management within data center transformation
• Documented experience working with data flows and quality assurance of data/statistics
• Experience leading projects in close collaboration with the business, including planning and coordinating changes that affect operations or user experience
• At least 3 years of documented experience (since 2022) in project management according to PPS or equivalent project model
• Ability to work systematically in complex environments

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in assignments within the public sector or government agency
• Experience in portfolio management or prioritization work at a strategic level
• IT projects within data-heavy operations, e.g., statistical production
• Migration to private cloud solutions
• Project management in larger organizations (>500 employees)
• Good ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders

Practical Information
